The Screen is made from 21 cast, fire-polished glass blocks, each shaped with a concave lens on one side. These blocks are stacked vertically inside a brushed stainless-steel frame. Because of the concertina shape of the structure, each lens lines up so that a viewer can look through several lenses at once. This arrangement creates a sense of depth and allows the viewer to see distorted, miniature views of the surrounding area through each block.
