The Everyday made Sacred

London's Kitchen is a limited-edition collection of six products connected to and inspired by Park Royal, an industrial zone in north-west London.

Made through partnership between artists and designers with local businesses in and around the area, the product editions were launched during London Design Festival 2021 (18 - 26 September) and are available to buy online at London's Kitchen

I was commissioned by Joy Bonfield-Colombara to make an undulated glass plinth to present the soap designed by Joy, to elevate the act of washing one’s hands. The plinth is suggestive of pouring liquid, it’s wavy ‘ripples’ are both a nod to running water and tea pouring.

London’s Kitchen is a project curated by Panel and commissioned by the OPDC as part of the Great Place Scheme. Funded by Arts Council England and National Lottery Heritage Fund.
